Flo & Mayhem Costume

My boyfriend and I go to a Halloween party every year and we also go with costumes that go together, previously we'd been Mario and Luigi. This year we wanted to do something a little more on the affordable side so we opted for me to dress up as Flo from Progressive Insurance partnered with Mayhem from Allstate Insurance. My wig, apron, buttons and headband all came from the Progressive website ($25 total) while my boyfriends Mayhem costume pieces were purchased at our local Salvation Army ($5 total!) and destroyed by him. I put pomade in his hair to make it appear messy and he smeared dirt from our garden on his face. Needless to say we were a huge hit at both parties we went to! We both won prizes in a costume contest at one of the parties, my Flo costume won Best Overall while my boyfriends Mayhem costume won People's Choice, we would've won for best couple but were unable to since we had both already won in other categories.
