This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tyler, the 'Ash & Pikachu' costume creator:
I'm dressed up as Pikachu and my boyfriend is dressed up as Ash (Pokemon characters). When I was little I used to be obsessed with Pokemon, and as I got older I always thought it would be cute to dress up as Pikachu for Halloween. Now that I have a boyfriend, I thought it would be even more adorable to turn it into a couple's costume! I got the ears and socks from Hot Topic, and just got a plain yellow shirt from Walmart and cut it. I ordered my boyfriend's hat off eBay and made the Pokeball myself out of a styrofoam ball and paint! It was a huge hit and everyone loved it.
