This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Peter, the 'Wizard' costume creator:
This is our son Nathan. He wanted to be a wizard. We don't buy costumes.. we make them.
The hat was inspired from Harry Potter teachers. The beard is made from a witch hat that had hair attached to it. We cut it off and attached a rope to it and it fits around his head.
I made the cloak too from a large piece of felt. Cut it out and sewed it. The hat is a witch hat we had from a few years ago, but since we cut it up (for the beard) I covered it with the felt.
It turned out great and he got TONS of compliments.
