Chief Brody and Jaws Costume

My son Brighton is a huge Jaws fan so naturally he asked for a Jaws costume for Halloween. We decided that a shark costume might be a little to easy for our taste so tried to think of alternatives. After I saw a Titanic costume online, it hit me! Chief Brody in the Orca, running from Jaws! We didn't spend very much money on the costume. The khaki jacket and pants we already owned, as well as the fake gun he carried, the battery lights under the boat and the mp3 player that blasted the Jaws theme music. The boat is made out of a large box from work, that I cut, shaped, and covered in colored duct tape (we used old spice containers covered in yellow construction paper for the barrels on the bow.) We also added straps from an old backpack. We bought the glasses form Goodwill and ordered the Amity Police patch and inflatable shark online, which we had filled at the Dollar Store and attached to the back of the boat to "chase" Chief Brody.
