This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mike, the 'Blitz the Seattle Seahawk' costume creator:
My son who is 10 is a big Seahawks fan so I decided to make home this costume. I first formed a large head with cardboard. Then I used paper and tape to sculpt the face. I covered the face with different types of fur, fleece and foam to finish it off. For wings, I hot glued layers of wings to a navy blue shirt. For the feet, I made cardboard shoe covers and used fabric and foam to form hawk feet. He was able to wear an existing jersey to complete the suit.
