This homemade costume for adults entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Darcy, the 'Marshmallow Snow Monster' costume creator:

I started with a couple of old torn yoga mats. I thought they could be the base of a costume. After seeing Frozen I decided to create a snowmonster.
I cut out the pieces for the costume and then using hundreds of pins I pieced the costume together. I had to use about 15 tubes of silicone adhesive to keep all the pieces together.
It took me several weeks to create because i could only do one section at a time. There is about 12 hours curing time with the adhesive before it was strong enough to add on the next piece.
After the bulk of the costume was done I made a face from an oven baked sculping clay. I glued the face on and then caulked around the edges to smooth out the seams.
I applied blue paint ti the seams for shadowing.
Finally ,i added blue led light s to the eyes and mouth.
I am a 54 year old gramma and I wore this for Halloween! The neighbors were amazed!!

I am desperately looking for the marshmallow costume and I cannot find anything that is already made. Do you rent yours out? Thank you.

Due to lack of space , I took it apart, saving only the head and hands.
