A word from Keyera, the 'Akasha Queen of the Damned' costume creator:

I am wearing the costume and did it myself. I have always wanted an Akasha costume ever since I saw the movie. So I decided to make it myself. I drew out everything first and then used worbla and wire to create the crown, chest piece, arm pieces and skirt pieces and made them to fit my body. I got material for the skirt and arm parts and sewed them together and then painted everything. I didn't know what I was doing when I started since I've never done this kind of thing before but just kept going and it all came together in the end. It took about a month to do with me only spending a few hours a day on it so... Not too time consuming... The hardest part was looking at it and seeing details I missed lol but that was pretty much all to it.

Hi ladies! I would love to make you one but I am currently in my 3rd trimester of my pregnancy and and have not been getting much sleep lately. And also the place I buy my worbla from generally takes them a month for them to get it to me so that also would be something to keep in mind in case you wanted it by Halloween! If in the future you do still would like for me to make one or you have any questions I would love to speak with you! Just contact me at thomaslangewedding[at]yahoo.com
Thank you!

i love this bra! it's amazing! i'm about your size and i was very nervous to have something on with no straps but your costumes looks like it didn't move at all and stayed intact perfectly. what did you make your bra out of and how did it stay on all night with so little support?

#13 comment by Keyera October 15, 2020

Tay the bra is made from worbla and I used double sided tape to keep the on and I no no issues with it
