This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Valzy, the 'Red Hulk' costume creator:

My son Isaiah is wearing Red Hulk who stands at 4' tall. It was his turn to get a homemade costume.

We tried and failed to create "The Thing" from fantastic 4, so, we looked on line and found a statue of Red Hulk that changed my mind. We entered him in a small community keiki-con, but he didn't win. However people still asked for picture taking.

After the most impossible feat of carving spray foam (the one used for sealing cracks) I completed it in only 3 months.lol
Flying blind, I wrapped cardboard around arms, legs and body oversized it a bit-sprayed the foam on one side-after dry sprayed the other side-symmetrically trimmed both sides-carved the muscles-glued each section with latex silicone caulking to shirt and pants.
I cut hands / feet shapes out of furniture foam-hot glued them-and sprayed everything red and the deep spots dark red.

Would you be able to make a yellow one? If so how much?

#24 comment by Katie October 2, 2019

Willing to sell?

#25 comment by Val October 8, 2019

Hi Katie, its expanding foam, limited mobility.
Looking back I would've used furniture foam.
This one is not worth buying for use. Thanks for the interest though.
