This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Theresa, the 'Eat Fresh' costume creator:
Harper Lillian Jeanne was born 7 weeks early on September 23rd, 2016 weighing only 3 lbs. 6 oz. and spent 2 1/2 weeks in the NICU gaining weight and getting healthy. For Halloween this year we wanted to do a costume that the family and friends that hadn't seen her yet could relate her size to. What better size reference than a "five dollar footlong sub" from Subway? The costume was easy, we just swaddled her tightly in a receiving blanket, outer wrapped her in a Subway wrapper and placed her gently on a plate with some chips and cucumber slices. Our family loved it!
