Disney Villains Costume

Caitlin and her husband, Mikiel, decided to dress up as notorious Disney character villains. Maleficent and Hades from Hercules. Both costumes were hand made by Caitlin. She created key pieces for Maleficent from the emerald necklace, glowing staff with crow, iconic headpiece and even sewed the entire jacket with cape attached to it. Materials range from cosplay fabric, paper mache, cardboard, electrical tape, Christmas ornaments, LED lights, and copper wire to name a few. Mikiel's costume was a little more simple creating a tunic out of a blue grey velvet material, Greek key trim for the neck and a grey chiffon fabric for his draped toga. Both costumes took about 2 months to create.
