This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tracy, the 'Army Tank' costume creator:
My 5 year old son insisted on being an Army Tank this year. I searched for days looking online to try to find instructions that I felt like I could follow. With no luck, I sat out with A LOT of cardboard, gorilla glue and patience. In the end, it was too heavy for him to carry, even with straps, so I bolted in PVC pipe and attached training wheels to the bottom so he could roll it. It had flashing red and orange LED lights in the cannon to give it a look of firing, and I used the sound out of a tank 'toy' to give it firing sounds.
