Zombee Costume

I saw this costume a couple years ago when out on Halloween. She was wearing a very sexy version and I decided to make it a creepy version instead! I am theater major so I know how to do the make-up from that. The clothing pieces came from Goodwill, its a child's dress (the stripped part), black sweatshirt and black pants. The pants had two layers so I was able to just rip the first the layer. For the bee pieces I went to a costume shop and it had wings and antenna together for $12. The hand is q-tips with the cotton cut off. I used nail glue to keep them on. Then around it (and on my face) is layers of toilet paper with Elmer's glue. I put a layer of toilet paper, then glue and let it almost dry then put another layer on over and over until I get the thickness I want. Then I let the layers harden and use tweezers to tear into the layers (very carefully) to get the "ripped skin" look. All the make-up is fake blood, eye shadow (black, gray, yellow, white, green, blue and purple), yellow cream (from the costume store) and some clear lip gloss. SO MUCH FUN! I didn't use any latex, I promise!
