This homemade costume for pets entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Carlene, the 'Sailor and Shark' costume creator:
Dorbs is the sailor. He is wearing a sailor costume purchased at PetCo. His boat is a wicker basket that I painted navy blue with white strips. The rope is a thick knitting wool. I made the dog skull flag using felt.
Pugly is "Jaws" and wearing a shark costume from Michael's.
I also made the background using cardboard, spray paint and felt, as well as the "water" that the boat is sitting on, with poster board.
