Trophies Group Costume

The group of trophies costume came about after a month of brainstorming do-it-yourself costumes with my two roommates. I live with my twin sister and one of my best friends, and for the past few years we have dressed up in group costumes for Halloween. I am the soccer player, my friend is the Beauty pageant contestant, and my sister is the tennis player.

Of all the ideas we brainstormed together, we felt that the group of trophies costume would be the least expensive option, as we had the clothes already in our closet and only had to buy a few props and then gold spray paint as well as gold body paint. About a week before Halloween, we all spray painted our outfits and props gold incase they would need a few coats of spray paint. We bought the spray paint from michaels craft store. Because we all had started with white clothes, everything only needed one coat and came out looking great! The only other thing we needed to purchase was gold body paint. We bought metal mania gold body/face makeup which is available online. We ended up needed one package of this for each of us and had a little bit to spare. This product was wonderful and really made the whole costume come together. It dries almost instantly and does not rub off when sitting on furniture, in the car, etc. one package covered my face, neck, arms, and legs.

We got so many compliments throughout the night and recommend this costume for anyone looking for a unique homemade inexpensive costume!
