Beetlejuice Family Costume

Beetlejuice, Lydia, Adam and Barbara
My oldest daughter chose the idea and my husband and I knew we didn't want to be the basic Adam and Barbara. I started googling pictures and quickly decided we needed to be the scary version.
His pants we already had, found the shirt at a thriftstore and made his mask from an old bicycle helmet and paper mâché.
My dress I found on ebay and the mask I made from paper mâché and liquid joint compound. The frame is metal hangers and cardboard. Eyes are ping pong balls and use detailing for them, the teeth and the tongue from crayola's craft clay.
Lydia's outfit was a mixture of things we had and things we found at the local thrift store.
Beetlejuice's suit is a boys baptism suit that I took masking tape and spray painted.
The masks took over a month to do.
