This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nicole, the 'Ariel Little Mermaid' costume creator:
I made a Ariel mermaid costume!
Bought and painted shells (added glitter)on a beige tank top
Made (foam) and painted the sea shell
Sewed the skirt (simple) then added a tail
Tail=crinoline sew in layers then added fairy wings to the bottom!
Made the purse out of foam paper hot glued onto a old make up bag!
Old flats painted green added sea she'll from 1$ store and some pearls
