This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Leanne, the 'Ursula The Sea Witch' costume creator:
My daughter is obsessed with Disney villains. This year she wanted to be Ursula from The Little Mermaid. The costume turned out to be a little tricker than I thought it was going to be. I dyed a pink leotard lavender, sewed a purple velvet bodice onto the leotard, sewed and stuffed tenticles then strung them onto a belt. Ursula's eels were cut, painted, and sewn together and then pinned onto Ursula's outfit. I am in love with how everything came together. My daughter was so thrilled with the end result.
