This homemade costume for couples entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Kelly and Michael, the 'Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter' costume creators:

These costumes were made by Kelly and her mom. Using simplicity patterns and a lot of imagination. Costumes are a tradition with Kelly an her mom. Mike, Kelly's husband, has been recruited for the festivities and is good sport and lets Kelly and Dale take the lead. This year he didn't know his costume until a few days before Halloween!!!

Love these costumes since I helped make them.
But Kelly did a fantastic job on make-up and heir with help from Lisa. Everything was made except scarf on hat. Even the wand

Of the 30 Halloweens I have witnessed these are by far the most stellar and brilliant display of creativity. Phenomenal!!
