This homemade costume for groups entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sophia, the 'Mario Kart' costume creator:
My friends and I like to do group costumes. We decided to do mario kart characters, complete with karts.
Princess Daisy wears a orange and gold/yellow dress. I made the dress from scratch. Used a blouse pattern and elongated it to make it a dress, added some tulle at the bottom to make it poofier. Bought a brown wig. Used gold/glittery foam to make a crown. Bought green jewels and glued them onto white daisies cut out of felt to make the accessories.
