Gumball Machine Costume

My costume was made by me. It took me 10 whole days to make it and it was worth it. I started off by getting red table cloth fabric for the bottom and got 2 hula hoops for the bottom and middle of the gumball machine. I glued the hula hoops to the red cloth then I got 2 yards of clear vinyl from wal-mart ($1.50 a yard) and metal wire to make the circle shape of the bubblegum machine. I attached the red cloth and clear vinyl together using a sewing machine. (It was very hard to do but I got it together). I got colorful balloons for the gumballs and put them inside the clear vinyl. To hold up the gumball machine I got big Styrofoam and fitted it to my waist and glue it to the red fabric.(That was also time consuming) I got Styrofoam for the top of the machine so the metal would stick inside of it.
