A word from Nikki, the 'Electric Jellyfish' costume creator:

I decided to be a jelly fish because I love the sea and jelly fish are so mysterious. I made my costume from fabric and card board and i put lights in the inside so it would glow at night. I love this costume!

Loved it! Here in Brazil we have Carnival this time of the year. I was wondering...how did you do the hat?

So i was thinking of making this for my Halloween costume! i was wondering if you used a hat as the base for the hat part or you just started with cardboard?? and did you paint the fabric?

I just started with cardboard, I cut a hole in the card board that was a little bit bigger than my head. I put bubble wrap inside to form the shape and then fabric over the bubble wrap. and I painted the fabric to look like a jelly fish!

Great costume. I love how it looks in the dark. What kind of lights did you use and how did you get the tentacles to glow?

I made slots to put glow sticks in! I took see through ribbon hot glue gunned one side and stuck glow sticks in them :)
