This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Riley, the 'Cupcake' costume creator:
I made my daughter, Riley, a cupcake costume. I used an old lamp shade for the bottom part then the rest is just quilting batting. The sprinkles are made out of felt. Saw the idea and did my best to recreate it. I bought the lamp shade for $1.50 and the felt for $1.00. I had the batting and spray paint so the whole costume cost me $2.50! Can't beat that! We just went to a local Trunk or Treat where a bunch of people took her picture. It's been a really big hit.
