Butterfly Pinata Costume

My 3 1/2 year old daughter Lilly came up with this idea after browsing creative home-made costumes online with me. We saw a donkey pinata idea then searched 'pinata costume'. However the search results consisted mostly of actual pinatas that can be purchased, including butterfly pinatas. That's how she picked her costume! I made it out of party streamer and lots of hot glue. I glued the streamer onto a denim dress after cutting little slits into the streamer. For the wings I glued cardboard onto a set of dress-up wings then glued the zig-zag design of streamer on each side. Her antenna is a black headband with 2 pipe cleaners twisted around and a puff ball glued at the top.
