Beauty and the Beast Couple Costume

Our church does a truck or treat each year for halloween. I wanted to do a disney theme so Belle was the one princess that had the same hair color as I did. My brother and I are in the picture. We looked all over for a beast costume but never found anything we were satisfied with so my dad made the beast costume. He got material from goodwill and dirt cheap and used hot glue and scissors to create the wardrobe. He used wires to make the frame for the head, hands, and feet. He then covered the wires with molding and plaster. It was a long process that involved sanding and shaving plaster and molding to get it the shape needed. The last part was to spray glue the hair on everything. The horns are styrofoam and spraypainted black. They eyes are painted. My brother actually can see out the mouth since the head is so big. The kids were scared of him so I had to give out the candy. Although, the older children loved it!
