This homemade costume for kids entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest, and won a special prize in the Most Creative Costume nomination!

The Crying Mummy - Part of the Haunting Family
Our 4 year old is very particular. He was not pleased with being wrapped in mummy wrapping. He went out haunting with his siblings and scored mucho candy and his expression changed to joy. He fit along with our children's Haunted theme wonderfully. We started this costume with a cream colored shirt and pants from the thrift store that we wrapped over and over with torn muslin material strips. Easy and fun costume! Highly recommended for the littler, picky ones.
