Caveman Couple Costume

My boyfriend and I are wearing the costumes in this photo. We wanted something simple to make that would be recognizable. We were also going to a party and needed to be able to dance and move around easily. For the woman's costume, I bought faux fur from the fabric store and made a basic tube dress with an elastic band on the top. For the man's costume I got a basic brown t-shirt and cut off the collar and made holes. Then I covered it in a faux fur wrap. I also used thin brown fabric and covered a pair of plain black shorts to give a jagged edge and holes. both costumes have twine, leather strip, and bone beading accessories. I had some of the materials already like the bone and arrowhead accessories, twine and leather strips already so these two costumes cost less than $30 total. *You can wear these costumes with uggs, moccasins or leather flip flops depending on weather.
