Phineas and Ferb Costume

My son loves the cartoon and asked if we could make him Ferb for Halloween this year and mentioned little brother had to be Phineas so of course we couldn't turn him down.

The costumes were fairly simple to make.
We used yarn for the hair, Styrofoam for the eyes (black felt for the eyeball), brown fabric for the heads and the material under the heads to shape them we found at Joann Fabrics and is called double knit I believe, it has glue on it so that you can just iron on the material to it and it sticks. With Ferb we measured my sons head and cut according to that for the mouth. For Phineas we used a jacket with a hood he wears and used that for measuring the size. We bought a white dress shirt for Ferb and used Rit Dye to dye it yellow, weaved ribbon through the purple pants.
