Beauty and the Beast Costume

My 4 year old daughter requested I make her a Belle costume for Halloween so I decided I would attempt a beast costume for my son.
I went to the fabric section at Walmart and pulled out all the yellow. I wasn't sure exactly what I was doing but I selected some yellow materials and made it work! I haven't been sewing for very long so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I used my hoop slip from my wedding dress to fulfill her desire for poofyness ;).
I bought a wig off of amazon and replaced the pink bows that were on it with yellow and tied half of the hair in a bun.
For the beast I bought a basic eye mask and glued felt on it in attempt to look beastly. I bought a jacket and pants at a thrift store and glued yellow felt on it. I used brown and gray felt to glue around his shoes to make monster looking feet.
The total for both of their costumes was around $40
