This homemade costume for kids entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Darcy, the 'Cardboard Groot' costume creator:
I used a long sleeve shirt and long pants for the base. I then cut out pieces of cardboard. I used sharpies to draw lines. Then with hot glue I glued the cardboard to the clothing.
The headpiece is all cardboard with hand drawn features.
