This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Ashley, the 'Cabbage Patch Riots of '83' costume creator:
This mom was gonna get her baby a Cabbage Patch Kid no matter what. She fought tooth and nail for this doll and proudly (or psychotically) poses with her win. She's looks rough, but you should have seen the other guy;)
We used old clothing we had from the 80s. A bat and some K-Mart and Zayre shopping bags would have been a great touch. Brawl makeup of course. And the Cabbage Patch Kid's wig was a ragdoll wig found in after season clearance. We braided and added yard for the bangs. Cut up a box, painted it yellow and added logo. Money spent: $0!
