Bubble Gum on the Bottom of a Shoe Costume

My son is wearing a 'shoe' made of cardboard. My daughter is wearing bubbles, as the gum.

The shoe gets cut out of a large cardboard box, spray painted black.
Use foam (pink) and hot glue on the bottom of the cardboard in a splat shape.
Take yarn and swirl it in spots on the foam-- hot glueing it down.
Make (2) bunches of 10- 15 foot strands of yarn..
Poke 2 holes in the pink foam going all the way through the cardboard. Once through tie a knot in the end of both bunches ( in the back). The other end gets knotted with a safety pin at the even to secure it onto the bubble.
Make 2 slits on each side of the center of the shoe (depends on the child's height) use two belts and fasten the child to the cardboard with the belts.
Bubble- safety pin a bunch of blown up bubbles on the pink t-shirt. Find fun pink sunglasses, tutu, hat and feather boa. Safety pin the 2 bunches of yarn on the bubble.
