Blade Mouth Costume

I am the amazing person wearing the costume I have designed for myself as a participant in a local Haunted House!

Blade mask-was the most expensive & difficult part of this costume.
I bought a very simple mask from Dollar General $1 and cut it to fit over my mouth. Then purchased a piece of sheet metal from lowes $10 outlined each blade and then cut them out....so they were very sharp! And attached them to the mask. Zombie face paint kit-$2 at wallys, firey red wig was purchased at the goodwill for $4. The shirt, tights and boots were old clothes I had laying around so I put my scissors to work on both of those. Then used liquid latex to make the zombie chest piece that is worn under the shirt. The dog collar belongs to my sons pit bull so I borrowed it. Plastic chain connected to the collar $3 at Dollar Tree. And the skirt I was on my way to Hobby Lobby to purchase tulle so I could make me a no sew tulle skirt when I received a phone call from my son. He was crying so hard I barely could understand him, he kept saying I think my arm is broke so here I am making u-turns and running ref lights trying to get back to him. So now I am in the Emergency Room all night with an incomplete costume. So I had an idea so I asked the nurse for a blanket because I was a little cold so she gives me a white sheet just what I needed so within the next 30 mins I began tearing up the sheet so I could wear it as a skirt. Got home and did a blood job on the shirt, skirt and mask! So this actually turned out being a $20 costume plus a little time! # BLADE MOUTH #2016
