|Costume type:||Costumes for Women|

A word from Bailey, the 'Bioluminescent Jellyfish' costume creator:
I woke up on Halloween morning with no costume. I saw a few jellyfish examples online and thought, "Hmm, I already have a clear bubble umbrella-- I'll just turn that it into a massive jellyfish today. In fact, I'll go the extra mile and make it bioluminescent." So off I went on my sporadic trip to the fabric store where I bought 13 yards of sparkly, sheer tulle and fabric along with 13 yards of crinkly ribbon and dress trim all for 40% off. Much of it was less than $1 per yard! I then cut all of it into long strips and hot glued them to the umbrella. After that, I duct taped and wove battery powered wire fairy lights around the top inside of the umbrella. Took about 2 hours total to make. "Off I glow," I yelled, as I headed off to all of my parties. Needless to say, I was a show stopper. FAVORITE COSTUME EVER! All in a day's work...
