Beetlejuice & Lydia Deetz Costume

I simply couldn't decide between Beetlejuice or Lydia Deetz for Halloween...so I went as both!

For this costume I purchased the maroon tux (can you believe they make a maroon tux?!?) and then made the dress and underskirts and attached them together. The wigs were also purchased, then cut in half and stitched together and styled by me. The whole costume is several pieces layered together to get the look like I was cut in half and sewn together. I created the bouquet and even had a finger with a ring on it to show. It took about 2 hours to complete the makeup. I even painted half of my teeth yellow!

I hope you enjoy checking out my costume. I'm constantly inspired by the costumes on this site and hope this one inspires someone else to do a split character costume someday!
