Bald Eagle in Nest with Baby Eaglet Costume

I, Kristin, am wearing the costume. My mom is obsessed with eagles and I’ve seen a few in the wild so I thought it would be a fun project to do together. I added moss and real tree branches to the nest to look as though the nest was in a tree. I got styrofoam eggs and cut one open to place a baby bird in it made from styrofoam and fabric trim that had little gray and silver balls on it. I bought all the feathers off of eBay and glued them on satin ribbon to make the collar and glued them on paper to make the tail. I glued brown ones on to a brown dress. I wired the nest to a belt to easily take on and off. I glued the tail to a seperate belt so it would hang over the nest. It cost me about $100 total with all the different materials, make up and jewels on my face too.
