My little Raggedy Ann baby
|Costume type:||Costumes for Babies|
This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Brandii, the 'Baby Raggedy Ann' costume creator:
My 3 month old daughter, Caidence, dressed up as Raggedy Ann for her first Halloween. She won third place in our city's costume contest and got her very first trophy. The entire costume was made by me (her mommy).
I bought red yarn & pulled it through a crocheted beanie to make her wig. I then went to a thrift store and got a size 2T blue romper and a size 2T sleeveless white dress. I cut the romper & sewed it into a dress & I cut the white dress & sewed it into an apron. I put a white romper under the costume & added red masking tape to make the red & white striped "stockings". Total cost was only about $5 and I think it turned out great!
