Baby Groot Costume

I made this costume for my 8 year old son, who wanted to be Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. I first thought to purchase the costume online but decided the quality was not quite worth the price. So I decided to make it instead. I searched online for good materials to get the proper effects for Groots body. I used Foam spray. Spray paint and twigs on an old pair of track pants and sweater. A small amount of cardboard. For the face I did paper mache over bristol board. Then spray paint and paint with some tissue paper for the detail on the mask. The whole costume cost me roughly 35.00 which was less then the costume at party city. It turned out great and my son loved it. It also kept him really warm when he was trick or treating which was a bonus.
