Baby Dancing Groot Costume

This is Brandon as Baby Groot for Halloween 2015. This incredible costume is the work of his grandmother. Each year at Halloween we are treated to a new work of art. This year to achieve Groot, she used a morphsuit painted to match the bark of young tree, several types of material, to create the bark wraps, then two types of foam tubing and velvet to make the vines and tendrils. She complete the look of the body with shaded painting in select areas and form the vines and bark to his body. The face is a half of a milk jug with the bark material shaped to fit and more vines and tendrils on top. The pot is actually a lamp shade covered in vinyl and her free hand painting to mimic the toy of Baby Groot. Pretty amazing!
