Avatars Costume

My boyfriend came up with the idea to do this for Halloween 2015 and we knew we'd need practice so we also dressed up for a couple festivals and it was a success. We spent months preparing by making the tails with wire, pantyhose, stuffing, liquid latex and paint. Then we made our jewelry with twine, hemp, feathers and scraps of leather; we also made hoodies to keep warm. the first day took about six or more hours getting ready. We covered ourselves in liquid latex and paint, glued on our ears and put in our contacts. We then added the stripes and dots to finish the total look. The response we received from fellow festival goers and staff made all the work absolutely worth it. We were swarmed by people all four days of the festival asking for pictures and made so many amazing friends. We can't wait for Halloween!
