This homemade costume for women entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest, and won 2nd place in the Coolest Adult Costume nomination!

A word from Amber, the 'Cheshire Cat' costume creator:

Model: Amber Owen
This was my halloween costume for my cosmetology school's hairshow on 10-28-11. The theme was "Two-Faced", and it could be interpreted any way you wanted. My technician who did the actual work on me was Cassaundra Glaznap. We had so much fun putting this outfit together. The costume was homemade by a family friend. I wore a white leotard spray painted purple on one side and spankies. we then took a band of elastic and cut up shear sparkly fabric and tied it around the band. we then used multiple pieces of fabric we bought to make the top of alice's dress. The white apron was a vintage apron. I was body painted with Halloween grease makeup and my hair was water permed on cheshire's side and then spray painted with a halloween hair color spray and teased. My hair on Alice's side was thermal set and pinned, we also wrapped my hair around a Lady Gaga bow. My nails on Alice's side were simple blue and glittery, while my Cheshire side had Black pointy nail tips on.
