Goblin the Bulldog as Abby Sciuto, Forensic Scientist - NCIS
I'm a big fan of NCIS, and I wanted to dress Goblin as something "girly" since everybody thinks she's a boy. The base garment was all clearance material from the craft store. The studded bracelets and necklace were sold by yard at the craft store too. I sewed the jacket to the bracelets and velcro onto the bracelets to act as sleeves to hold the costume on her. I sewed the plaid skirt to the little lab coat and painted NCIS on the left side of the coat. On the right side of the coat, I made an NCIS ID badge with the actress' photo in case someone had never seen the show and didn't know the character. Everybody knows her at least from the commercials. The front piece has a skull patch to look like one of the skull t-shirts Abby wears under her lab coat. The wig was just a people headband wrapped in black yarn. I had to get creative and sew a strip of yarn onto the front to make the bangs, and the braids had pipe cleaner in them to hold the shape. They bounce when she walks... it's so cute! The goggles were from her friend, the maintenance man.
