Halloween Costume Contest
 The 2009 Halloween Costume Contest will begin, at the latest, 9-9-09. Please don't be shy my friends...Get those Costumes together and click some photos! Then! Send the photos to ME at : Coletta@Costume-Works.com as a "jpg" and, preferably...but not absolutey necessary...as an "attachment". {Side Note: If the costumes are homemade and you have instructions...Jot them down and send them along too so I can post them for NEXT Halloween (or sooner). You will have my THANKS for all of you extra efforts Ü} Also, Please send the name of the costume wearer and/or the name of the person sending in the entry along with the relationship to the costume wearer( Mom, Grandma, Friend..etc.). I like to put a little snipet beneath each photo. I will not put any LAST names on my webpages unless asked to in advance. Please believe that ANY of your info is safe with me. That said...Let me just say that you may also send your Home Mailing Address along at this time also OR if you prefer you may wait until you have been notified of a WIN. Did I mention that the prizes will be CASH ?  First Place = $100.00 Second Place = $50.00 Third Place = $25.00 2 Honerable Mentions = $10.00 each Entries will be accepted through November 20th (to give everyone plenty of time to get their pictures developed ..after which time... JUDGING will be done. Judging will NOT be done by Me, Myself, or I. I have not, as yet, decided who will be our judges this year. HOWEVER! As soon as that decision is made I will post it right here. ( I promise I will make a decision soon Ü) Each year I must decide who to honor with the task Ü...but rest assured....it will always be persons who are Costume Loving and FAIR. None of the judges, nor their children, will be allowed to enter the contest...for obvious reasons. Prize Monies will be delivered out by US Postal Mail, in Postal Money Order form, the first week of December. (just in time for Christmas! Ü) Please
note NEW RULE:
Please
send in only one entry per person/contest wearer. You may send more
than one photo of
a person in the same costume though..in fact it is encouraged, so we
may view more than one angle of the Costume. Past contests have shown
that the ODDS are better for a person who has entered more than one
Costume..which makes it less than fair for the persons who are entered
in only one. That ONE Costume would likely be the Costume for THIS
years Halloween .....which is actually the way this Costume Contest is
intended. I have ben lax about this and I do apologize. I did not
recognize the harm. Now that I do... I thank you in advance for your
cooperation with this simple
