Food and Recipes
for Parties, Galas, and Balls
Because the above festivities may PROBABLY be feeding peoples in Costumes (or at least that's the IDEA of this site:-) I think it is important that we discuss some extra large napkins and /OR possibly BIBS. We wouldn't want gravy stains on Aunt Suzys new Silk Princess Gown now would we? (or WOULD we? ;-). By the same token, I think that the Chef and his or her helpers will definately need some appropriately festive APRONS to suit the Occasion. I will have links to online stores for these needs very soon. Thanks again for your patience.
The title explains it pretty good I think. Here I will post Recipes for your favorite Holiday, and/or Holiday Party, and/or Gala, and/or Ball...whew!... and we may as well add Celebrations and/or Occasions! Think FOOD! ("Drinks" also...if you have something special to sip or gulp).
I would like to have recipes for Main Dishes...Like how you stuff your best Thanksgiving Turkey. I will need the whole MEAL actually..tell us what you cook WITH that Turkey if you'd care to. We need Vegi dishes and desserts. Any food you make that has a festive flare will do nicely here. It doesn't necessarily have to be TURKEY because it's Thanksgiving or Christmas either. (although some folks believe in having it no other way) I could do with a change my SELF. I, for one, need some new Ideas.(Do I sound like I'm whining? cause I AM! :-) Believe it or not, my family has gotten pretty bored with my Almond Stuffed Turkey with Sweet Orange Glaze. Now doesn't that sound just wonderful to YOU? ( I WILL include it in this section, I promise, and it IS delicious )

Whatever your choice or your talent is in the kitchen,...even if it's a certain Cookie recipe that you do particularly well....Please share it with me here and you will be sharing it with MANY other greatful people who want to try something a little bit different for the next Party or Occasion.
